The French Combinatorial Conference is a well known event in the domain. Since 1976, it has been organized each 4 or 5 years. The most recent one was held in Hyères from 12 to 16 September 2005 (ICGT05). It attracted more than 200 researchers from all over the world.
The 2010 version will be co-organized by the Algorithms research group and the Graph theory and Combinatorial optimization research group of LRI, Université de Paris XI – Sud, Orsay.
This conference will bring together researchers from all over the world. The wide scope of the conference should provide an excellent opportunity for sharing ideas and problems among specialists in and users of combinatorial mathematics from academia, government and industry. Special efforts have been taken in order to attract a large number of PhD students and post-doctoral level researchers. Talks are expected to be given by leading researchers from all over the world.
Exceptionally, this event will be dedicated to numerous well known combinatorial mathematicians who have retired from French universities over the past few years or will take retirement before June 30, 2010.
